17 “rich narratives” from Microsoft TechFest 2011

Microsoft Research does an annual show-and-tell — “TechFest” — for the rest of the company. Only a handful of the several tens of demos shown there are open to the press, and the rest open only to Microsoft employees.

For this year’s TechFest, they’ve released “rich interactive narratives” using (Silverlight and the DeepZoom technology) covering the open demos, available at: http://www.digitalnarratives.net/TechFest2011.html . I really liked the interactive displays segment. Only I wish there’d been more technical detail in the narratives.
