I am a computer scientist, living in moist Seattle, WA, originally from sunny India. I like reading, I dabble in photography, and I love a variety of music. My research interests have been at the intersection of natural language, search, big data and
machine learning.

I’ve worked in Bombay, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Murray Hill/Florham Park, Redmond/Seattle and Beijing.

All opinions expressed here are mine, and not related in any way to any of my employers, past or current.

I love what technology can do for us, and I’m interested in how a good mix of people and technology can make the world a better place, and my posts will cover these broad areas. I also want to help be a voice for the voiceless, and do my bit to raise awareness on issues that are of interest to me.
